1. Applicable Sales Tax - TEXAS
For orders delivered within the state of Texas, Belger Photo Supply is required to automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax of 8.25%. This ensures compliance with state regulations and tax obligations.
2. Tax Exemption for Texas Residents
If you reside in Texas and believe your order may be eligible for tax exemption under Sec. 151.318 (Property Used in Manufacturing) or Sec. 151.3185 (Film Production) of the tax code, you have the option to request a tax exemption. To proceed:
a. Complete the TEXAS SALES AND USE TAX RESALE CERTIFICATE, Tax Form 01-3392. b. Email the completed form to us at [email protected]. c. After verifying the form, you can proceed to place your order tax-free by contacting our customer service team.
3. Providing the Form After Order Placement
You also have the flexibility to submit the tax exemption form after placing your order. Simply forward the completed form to us at any time during the same calendar year. Upon verification, we will process a refund for the tax charged to your credit card.
4. W-9 Form for Companies
For companies requesting a W-9 form, we are happy to provide a completed form upon request. Please note that since we specialize in tangible goods and do not engage in "services" or "contract work," such requests are not typically common.
